done, user runs program on pc, chooses port that the usb/serial device is on, then chooses upgrade file (which would be hosted on ecutalk site), hits program, then popup will say you need to power off device, at this point user goes to options->upgfw on the display, and resets it there. programming will begin once reset. should they corrupt the upgrade, shorting two of the pins at top of display (once any enclosure is removed) will reset it (you can turn power off/on because by the time the usb/serial com port reappears in PC it will be too late to start upgrade as the main display will have started) |
